How Does My Garden Grow

Starting the GardenIs growing a garden tough? I don’t know. My mother grows one every year. How hard can it be? Wait a minute! I don’t have land to plant things into, but I do have have a very large and sunny deck with a bunch of old pots to put my plants into. Lets see what happens.

I’ll be the first admit I have tried growing herbs in the deck in the past. Can you guess where the old pots came from? I had limited success, but the lack of success was due to my lack of care. This year will be different! I hope

This is what I have growing this year:

  • 2 kind of tomotos
  • 4 kinds of hot peppers
  • and various herbs.

I love fresh veggies and herbs. You just can’t beat the taste. Oh boy, this is going to be fun. Let the growing begin!

    I’m in the same boat, in that I have no real land to plant in, but I start my herbs inside in the early spring, then move them out to the deck when it warms up. Can’t beat walking to the deck for fresh herbs, vs going to the store!

    Include some tomatoes and peppers in the garden and life is great :-)
