About

IntoThePot.com is about eating better without sacrificing taste or having to slave over a hot stove.

You can actually eat very well without opening a can or microwaving some meal that comes in a cardboard box. If you’re looking for microwave recipes, please move along… Nothing to see here. But, if you want to eat “real” food made with “real” ingredients this is the place for you.

I’ve been experimenting with food and different cooking styles for over 25 years. My training consists of what I learned from my mother, and from watching others. I have no issue mixing ingredients from different cooking styles to make a meal. This is where my lack of formal cooking training is an advantage. If it tastes good, it is a success.

Cooking is an art and every artist uses different colors (ingredients) to make their work of art. You might like one better than the other, but someone will like the other more than the one you prefer. And that’s ok. This site about sharing ideas and having fun. Negativity is not allowed.
